Oregon Fishing

Fishing in OregonWelcome to fishing paradise! Oregon has more government protected Wild and Scenic rivers than any other state in the nation. We also have a rich history of salmon, trout, and steelhead fishing that continues today. Wilderness Fishing is honored to be a part of that history and today's opportunity to fish for blue-ribbon Pacific Northwest salmon, steelhead, trout and more.

Wilderness Fishing focuses on the eleven best rivers and lakes for Oregon fishing. In southern Oregon, one of our most popular trips is a drift boat fishing journey on the magnificent Rogue river. Ranging in length from one to four days, overnight Rogue river guests love to stay in wilderness lodges deep in the Rogue river canyon. During the Oregon fishing season, you can find us almost every day on the Deschutes river and the McKenzie river in central Oregon. Deschutes trips range in length from one to three days and are famous for “redside” trout and native steelhead fishing. The McKenzie river, one of our favorites, is a crystal clear alpine jewel famous for its native rainbow trout and sizeable stocked trout.  In the northern part of Oregon, we run great fishing charters on the Sandy and Clackamas rivers, each less than a 45 minute drive from Portland, but a world away in solitude and great salmon and steelhead fishing. Finally, for those wanting to learn or hone fly fishing skills, Wilderness Fishing offers instruction on all of these Oregon fishing trips above and dry land classes and private instruction.

Our guides are experienced, talented and licensed drift boat captains and fishing instructors. We carry all the tackle you'll need on each trip, including spin and fly fishing gear in most cases. We know the Oregon fishing secrets from the best holes and river stretches for fishing and we are absolutely confident you will find your fishing trip with us to be rewarding, fun, and a wonderful vacation.

In order to give you the best options for fishing in the Northwest, we offer these trips 365 days a year, conditions permitting. We offer the closest half day to four day trips to Portland, Bend, Eugene, and Ashland of any Oregon fishing outfitter. Needless to say, we have an Oregon river fishing trip perfect for you.
