Sixes River Fishing

Fishing the Sixes RiverAnother beautiful Oregon coastal river, the Sixes features great winter steelhead fishing. Located near the friendly and scenic town of Port Orford, the Sixes steelhead range up to and over 20 pounds! The average fish is eight pounds, which means a feisty fight when they are on. These trips are offered from December through March and make for a first-class winter fishing trip. The Sixes also offers good fall chinook fishing which is available on a charter trip basis. We offer one and two-day trips on the Sixes with overnights in a spectacular vacation rental on the two-day trips. A great trip to consider is one day on the Elk and another on the nearby Sixes river.
